Kids
Kids can be difficult subjects to photograph. I’m not one to set up posed pictures of people or objects. I am a voyeur behind the camera recording what I see au naturel. That is what I strive for.
Although some of today’s pictures may look posed, I can assure you they weren’t. The moments were captured through a mix of patience, observation and shooting many frames until the subject was no longer conscious of the camera.
Thank you once more to Sandy of Scribbles and Musings for the #FavFotoFriday idea.
This young lady was in tantrum mode. I love this shot because you can clearly see that look of juvenile defiance in her eyes.
The above picture looks posed but isn’t. The subject was notorious for being camera shy. However, she found an adult’s hat and like many kids she couldn’t resist dressing up.
This pic above captures the sheer joy of youth. He was happy learning to ice-skate at Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink. It was back to telephoto zoom lens for this shot using a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras.

I earn a small commission by referring you to the stores, but only if you buy as a result. There is no additional cost to you as a customer. Why Amazon and eBay? Choice! eBay is where you can pick up bargains in auctions if you shop wisely. And, many people don’t realize you can buy new, used and refurbished on Amazon.com]

The expression in the first pic I imagine to be: “What evs, gramps…”
